Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress is known for her performances as Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently working on a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. In addition, she is filming an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
