Suzy Kolber's parents were Jewish. Her birth date was Suzanne Lisa Kolber May 14 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She is currently at 58. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She graduated from Upper Dublin High School in Pennsylvania as well as Sandy Run Middle School. Then she completed her studies at the University of Miami in 1986 with an Associate of Arts degree in telecommunications. As a student at the university, she was offered an opportunity as the sports director at Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Aside from that she was employed by Dynamic Cable for two additional seasons between 1984 and 1986. The time was when she also was a member of the water ski team at The University of Miami. Plaza performed in the community theatre in Wilmington, as well as directing and directing one-act shows. Her move into New York City after high school where she studied the production of television and film at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. After graduating from high school, she relocated into New York City. There, she attended classes in improv in the theatre of Upright Citizens Brigade and studied film and television production at Tisch School of the Arts. The school graduated her in the year 2006.
