In August of 2020, Addison Rae was named by Forbes magazine as the highest-earning TikToker worldwide. It is also among the most-followed individuals on TikTok. Alongside being extremely popular on TikTok Addison Rae is also very well-known on other social media platforms, including Instagram YouTube and Twitter. She made her debut as a singer when she released the single Obsessed on 2021. The track reached the fourth spot on New Zealand Hot Singles charts as well as the sixth top-trending YouTube video on the same day. Addison Rae received nods for important ceremonies such as the People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards and as Kids' Choice Awards.
