Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy of Domme. The actress was inspired by her parents, a dentist and teacher who both taught her to follow her love of the theatre. It was in stark contrast with her previous desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. It was only in 1999, when she started acting professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou took part in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she has since gotten rid of these upbringings. Alongside her acting career, Tautou pursued modelling and was the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Photographing is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work in the Arles festival with the name Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on celebrity and fame, and then turns her camera to the journalists who scrutinised her when she exploded in fame and fortune as Amelie in addition to a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her role debut as Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim at award ceremonies around the globe. It is the most successful French language film to date in the US. The following year, she appeared in British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood in the United States, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
