Hallie J. Jackson is an American journalist and political analyst. She is currently an analyst and White House Correspondent for NBC News, and anchors a variety of MSNBC news shows (cable division NBC). She was born in Pennsylvania was raised and later earned her bachelor's degree in politics at John Hopkins University. Jackson started her career working with CBS affiliated stations WBOC, WFSB and WBOC in Maryland Delaware Connecticut. After an insignificant period, she joined Hearst Corporation where she reported from Washington DC to their 26 TV stations. After this, she moved to NBC News and spent a year working at NBC Los Angeles. Her reputation was established as an expert in political reporting due to her exceptional coverage of the presidential elections in 2016 as well as other elections. She is recognized as an efficient and flexible journalist. Her most notable assignments have included reporting on Senator Ted Cruz's race for president and getting exclusive interviews from important GOP politicians.
