Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an actress in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child performer in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. She had her first lead part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and was signed to be a part of several Tamil films simultaneously. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. The actress had to pull out of several films she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for bigger projects. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film's release was postponed in 2015 and is now expected to be after September 2020. It'll have an entirely different name Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
